New First Team Coach

Hamersley Rovers are proud to announce that Garrett McDuling has been appointed as our Premier First Team Coach for the 2014 season.

Garrett comes to Hamersley with a wealth of experience as a player having represented his country for both the Army and Australian Defence Force teams. Garrett has also won state titles with Queensland Lions, now Brisbane Roar, whilst playing under Miron Bleiburg, as well as playing professionally for Shamrock Rovers in Ireland for two seasons.

As a coach he has previous experience with Rochedale Rovers and Oxley United in Queensland. He has also successfully coached the Australian Army side and acted as an assistant for the Australian Defence Force side.

Garrett comes to Perth to study for a degree in Football and is looking forward to promoting the Hamersley’s ethos of attractive attacking football underpinned with a strong work ethic.
