Results Round 18

The first team had a tough away game to Gwelup Croatia and so it proved. A gutsy performance gave the visiting team a 1-1 draw thanks to a Steve Kruit goal. The result keeps Hamersley in fourth place in the league and while promotion is still mathematically possible it looks likely that the team will continue in Division One next season. However with a huge cup semi-final only a week away there is still very much to play for in season 2010.

The reserve team came away from Gwelup with the same scoreline as the first team to drop to third but are still in with a shout to top the leaue.

Social One maintained their recent good run that has seen just one defeat in 11 games although they could only manage a point in a 2-2 draw with Sutherlands Park. Social Two were defeated 4-1 to Tuart Hill.

Social Three secured the result of the day with their first win of the season. An excellent 3-2 win against Joondanna Blues was just reward for their effort and determination throughout the season.

The Ladies had an away game to Carlisle but came away with a 4-1 defeat. The Masters had a bye but gain 3 points due to Stirling pulling out. However they missed out on the league title with Bayswater City wrapping things up, winning their game against Perth City.
