First Team Prepare for Amateur Premier League

28 January 2012 Written by HRSC

Hamersley Rovers First and Reserve teams are gearing up for their assault on the Amateur Premier League. 2012 marks the first season back in the top flight after a 2 year absence since relegation in 2009. Hamersley had previously been in the top flight from 1992, a run of 17 seasons. With the clubs traditional rivals Shamrock Rovers and Fremantle United moving to the Saturday divisions, no other club in all 6 leagues can boast our long and proud history at the top of the amateur game. The aim is now to add to the trophy cabinet and establish ourselves at the top once again.

Hamersley Rovers First and Reserve teams will commence pre-season at Carine Open Space next Thursday the 2nd of February. Players are to be there for 6.30pm for training to commence at 6,45pm. New players have been recruited to join our highly talented squad as new coach Stevie White takes the reins. Any other new players willing to try out are most welcome to attend training on the above date.

For more information contact Stevie on 0438 945 947 or email the club at admin@hamersleyrovers.com.au
