    HRSC End of Season Function

    Hamersley Rovers will be holding our End of Season function and trophy night on Saturday 8th October.  It will again be held at The Oxford in Leederville from 7.30pm until midnight.

    The evening will include a 3 course dinner & 4 hour drinks package.

    The cost is $100 per person before the last game of the season on the 24th September (early bird discount).  After that date the cost will be $120 per person (full priced). The early bird cost

    Hamersley Rovers are pleased to announce the appointment of club legend Paul Keen who returns to take the Premier Reserve Team coaching position.

    Paul brings a wealth of knowledge of the game with a distinguished playing career as well as having coached at youth level in the State League.

    Paul was one of our top players in the late 90s and early 2000s winning Club Player of the Year in 1996, as well as being recognised with WA State Team honours.

    Division 5 Round 4: Hamersley SC V Koondoola Red Falcons

    This week saw the Division 5 boys back home at blustery Carine. Fresh off an encouraging 8-1 goal fest last week at Armadale the boys were keen to consolidate with back to back wins. This early optimism was short lived as a lively Koondoola came to play. Fifteen minutes in and a through ball was latched onto and calmly slotted past the imposing figure of Alec Glass.

    Division 5: Hamersley Rovers 8 Armadale SC 1

    Game 3 of the league took us to the sprawling metropolis of Armadale, where both Div 5 teams enjoyed comprehensive victories. My sources tell me that the Reserves battled to a well-earned 4-0 win, with 2 goals each for Ryan and Bobby.

    Ladies Division 5

    Amateurs Division 5 Assistant/Reserves Coach

    Both positions would have plenty of support especially on training nights (Tuesdays and Thursdays 6.45pm to 8.30pm). Either position would suit either a young enthusiastic person eager to begin their coaching journey or an experienced coach willing to help young players develop their talents in senior football.

  • Preseason 2016 Information

    Preseason for Hamersley Rovers Amateurs commenced on Tuesday, 12th January. Training sessions will be held every Tuesday and Thursday in January at Scarborough Beach from 6.45pm, starting on the 14th Jan. Contact first team coach Almir Komadaric for further information, details on the contact page.

    Preseason for Ladies and Socials/Metros will commence on Thursday 4th February at Liddell Park in Girrawheen (cnr of Wanneroo and Beach Roads). Meet at 6.30pm for a 6.45pm start.

    Hamersley Rovers are proud to announce that Almir Komadaric will be the clubs First Team Coach for 2016.

    Almir has previously coached BB United in the Amateur Premier League before taking a break from football last year. He comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience of the premier league which will be vital in our bid to challenge for silverware next season.

    Hamersley Rovers SC would like to thank and say farewell to first team coach Stuart Harrison. He has taken a new job in the north of WA and won't be available to carry on his role with the club.
