    Hamersley Rovers will be plying our trade in the Premier League for yet another season in 2016 after Kwinana's relegation last week and our solid 1-0 over North Perth this Sunday thanks to a Chris Sweeney goal.

    A good couple of weeks for our Premier Firsts has seen a return of 4 points from the last two games. Securing a 2-2 draw with Port Kennedy last week thanks to Mark Moore’s penalty save and Dec Peters late equaliser. This Sunday the team put Queens Park to the sword in a 3-0 win.     A return to the usual glorious Perth Sunday sunshine saw a return to winning ways for Hamersley Rovers Firsts as they took on Kingsley at Carine.

    In overcast and at times showery conditions at the JA Lee Reserve, Hamersley Rovers, missing four first team regulars, suffered their first defeat of the season to Perth Royals.

    Hamersley Rovers opened their account for the season with a hard fought 1-0 win over newly promoted Gwelup Croatia. A first half goal from debutant Ryan Williams ensured the points stayed at Carine Open Space.

    A tough game in hot conditions saw both teams struggle to maintain possession or create too many meaningful chances. Some crunching tackles also tested the patience of the referee who pruduced his yellow card on 8 occasions.
