Season 2013
22 December 2012
We hope you have all enjoyed the break from season 2012 and, as we are, eagerly awaiting season 2013. Despite things being seemly quiet on the surface, behind the scenes we have been busy planning for next year. Pre-season dates are being finalised for all teams and will be announced soon.
After a stunning return to the Premier League with a second place finish, semi-final of the cup and quarter-final of the State Cup, Craig Doble will again take charge of the First Team and we are very pleased to announce the return of Tel Stupple as Reserve Team Coach. Without doubt one of the most skilled and knowledgeable coaching duos in the Amateur Leagues.
Craig holds a UEFA 'B' Licence, has worked for Bolton Wanderes International Academy and currently works for the Burnley FC Australiasia Academy (as well as HRSC!). Tel previously coached Hamersley to promotion back to the Premier League before taking a break with the family. He brings invaluable knowledge, experience and organisation to our Reserve team and Premier Squad and will be ably assisted by Ian Norgrove.
We will have a minimum of 10 teams in 2013 with two Amateur teams with reserves, two ladies teams, two masters teams and at least two and possibly three social teams.
We always welcome new players, coaches and members for all our teams. For anybody visting our site and interested in joining this wonderful club, please do not hesitate to get in touch at admin@hamersleyrovers.com.au or via the contatc us form.
The committee is also looking for "new blood" so if you are interested in having a say about how your club is run and want to do your bit to help, do not hesitate to contact Carol or Joe (see contact page).
If you have any questions about the new season, feel free to get in touch.
