Rovers in State Cup Action
31 March 2013
Hamersley Rovers kick off on Easter Monday with their first competitive game of the season, away to Gosnells City in the State Cup Preliminary Round. With only the top Amateur teams involved it gives the club a chance to lock horns with teams in the Saturday leagues.
After last year reaching the quarter-finals, a repeat run starts with a very tough hurdle. Gosnells are one of the promotion favourites from Division 1. The games will be held at Hartfield Park in Forrestfield, Reserves kick off at 12.45pm and the First Team are in action at 3pm.
Competitive debut's to Ian Wright, Ian Worley, Declan Peters, Chris Macmichael, Danny Fowler and last years juniors Danny Malatesta and Dan Willis. Good luck to all players involved.
