Results Round 13

The nets were bulging at Carine on Sunday as the five games at home produced no less than 31 goals as Hamersley wrecked havoc with the visiting defences.

The first team had their biggest and best win of the season, in what has been a hard season so far, all games have been decided within a goal.....until now. A 6-0 demolition of Lynwood Colts saw the first team unleash the promise they have been showing since the first few weeks of pre-season and saw them move up to 4th in the table. Goal scorers were Steve Kruit (2), Ricky Andrews, Ben Ashton, Jon Lock and Martin 'Ikey' Ireland. A huge game awaits next Sunday as they take on Whitfords City in 2nd position, a win would put them firmly in the promotion mix.

The reserve team had a closer game with Lynwood reserves but showed plenty of fight to come back from 2-0 down to win 3-2, goals from Daniel Guggisberg (2) and Paul Broom. The reserves stay in 3rd place.

Division 6 also hit their straps for the first time this season with a 9-2 thrashing of Belmont Villa. A fantastic performance from all involved should give this young team confidence in the run home to pick up some more points in a tough league. The Div 6 reserves unfortunately lost to a last second goal from the same opposition, going down 3-2.

Social One warmed uo for their midweek cup game by knocking off title aspirants Swan United 2-0 away whilest Social Two can again count themselves unlucky, losing 2-1 to Condor United. Social Three battled hard at 2nd placed Heathridge before finally losing 4-0.

The Ladies team couldn't overturn the defeat they suffered to kalamunda last week, going down 1-0 away from home. The Masters however rounded off the day with a huge 10-3 win over Heathridge.
